After a challenging knee surgery that ended his military career, Mitch Hutchcraft achieved the extraordinary feat of conquering Mount Everest following a 13,000km triathlon.
Triathlon of Epic Proportions
Hutchcraft's journey began with a 35km swim across the English Channel, followed by a 12,000km bike ride from Europe to India, and a 900km run to Kathmandu, where he commenced his trek to the summit of Mount Everest.
Reflecting on his motivation, Hutchcraft shared that his decision to become a marine stemmed from the loss of his father. Despite the challenges, he successfully completed his ambitious triathlon and Everest ascent in 240 days.
