Ford is aiming for self-propelled car in 2021

- Ford expects 2021 extensively to fabricate a self-propelled vehicle for driverless taxi services. That made the US automaker said Tuesday.

The self-propelled Ford gets no steering wheel, accelerator and brake. The car is also designed specifically for taxis and some cars driving around without a driver. Ford expects to dominate the taxi market in the next decade.

To achieve its goal, the company is expanding its presence in tech center Silicon Valley sharply from, including through the construction of its own campus in Palo Alto.
