Severe rainfall has caused widespread flooding in New South Wales, Australia, resulting in one confirmed fatality as a man's body was found in a flooded house.

Evacuation Orders Issued

Authorities have urged residents in affected areas to evacuate as approximately 50,000 people are stranded due to rising waters. With more rain expected in the next two days, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology warns of further risks.

Emergency services have responded to over a thousand incidents, including over three hundred flood rescues in the past 24 hours.
