FBI : No bomb boat Maldives president

- An explosion on board the boat of the President of the Maldives end of September is not caused by a bomb, says the FBI. The Americans have no evidence found. The government of the Maldives said that the conclusion is at odds with findings of previous research.

Last week the Vice President of the archipelago, was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the explosion. President Abdulla Yameen was unharmed, his wife and two others were wounded.

The FBI was asked by the Maldives to investigate the incident. The Foreign Minister of Maldives tweeted that the forensic report is not convincing. The FBI said in a statement that the debris that has been given for research come from the boat and that there are no parts of a bomb were found.

Also, research from India and Australia at the request of the archipelago an investigation, reports have been published yet.
