new orleans - The FBI and the police of New Orleans no longer believe that there were other suspects directly involved in the New Year's attack in New Orleans.

During a press conference, the city government announced that after careful examination of all surveillance footage, investigators concluded that the suspect, 42-year-old army veteran Shamsud-Din Jabbar, placed explosives in the area and then changed clothes. The clothes were found in the vehicle, according to the FBI, which is leading the ongoing investigation.

The FBI is still investigating whether Jabbar spoke to people or sent messages prior to the attack. The attack resulted in the deaths of fifteen people and injuries to dozens.
