Father casualty attack buries son in Belgium in spite of hate messages

- The Belgian-Turkish Ali lost his 23 year old son Kerim in the attack on the Turkish night club Reina in Istanbul. He was shocked by the racist comments of his fellow Belgian, but he decided to bury his son in that country. 'Those poor people are racists.'

Against VRT let Ali know that the racist messages on social media as 'to follow many, I hope' 'another Turk less' and have done him a lot of pain.

Yet he he tries to rise above them and still hopes to some understanding. 'My son and I have a piece of this country, so I will bury him here. These racists are poor people, they do not realize what they are doing, 'said the grieving father.

Kerim (23) Wednesday buried in their hometown Houthalen, in eastern Belgium.

The attack on nightclub Reina shortly after the turn of the year, 39 people were killed, including 25 foreigners. The attack was claimed by terrorist Islamic State.
