Fairytale photo of American 'horror family'

perris - The contrast can not be greater. On a surfaced photo of the 'horror family' in the American city of Perris, David Turpin and Louise smiled broadly on their wedding day. Years later the children are found chained to their beds.

The children were found when their 17-year-old, extremely emaciated sister managed to escape from her parental 'horror house' in Perris, a town about 113 kilometers east of Los Angeles. She looked like a ten-year-old, according to police officers.

The girl said through the emergency number 911 that her twelve brothers and sisters were being held by their parents. She also said that some were tied up with 'chains and padlocks'.

The police did not hesitate and immediately visited the home of David Turpin (57) and his wife Louise (49), where the neglected children and young adults were found. It concerns 3 boys and 9 girls. They were chained to their beds in the dark and there was a pungent smell.
