Facebook testing Wi-search

- Facebook seems to test a new feature that gives users the ability to Wi-Fi networks around search, reports The Next Web Tuesday.

According to the website does Facebook use the information given by Pages. Pages is a part of Facebook where for example, companies with their own Facebook page to enter their hours or amenities. It seems that the information specified is now used on the availability of wifi for the wifi search.

For now, the feature seems to be only available on the iOS app from Facebook. There is however a snag: the search for wifi location history is also enabled. Facebook then stores the exact locations where you've been.
