Facebook escapes billing claim

The claim was filed by the relatives of Americans killed by the Palestinian radical movement Hamas. Hamas distributes his message via social media, including Facebook, to fans. But according to US law, Facebook can not be penalized for what organizations like Hamas place on the platform.

A few tens of thousands of Israeli residents had also filed a complaint against Facebook. They were afraid that they would be victims of Hamas violence in the future. That claim was also rejected.

The lawyer of both groups of complainants has announced to appeal.
