Facebook enables secure button after earthquake

rome - After the earthquake in Italy, people on Facebook show with one press of a button they are safe. The network has activated the security check.

When disaster strikes, Facebook may decide to send a special message to anyone who may be in the disaster area. Users can then press the button 'I'm safe' clicks. Automatically notified to all friends of that user. The Facebook Safety Check was first used after the earthquake in Nepal last year. Later, the system is also used in attacks in Paris, Munich, Nice and Turkey.
