marseille, france - An explosion occurred at the Russian consulate in Marseille, prompting Russia to demand a thorough investigation and labeling it as a terrorist attack.

An explosion took place at the Russian consulate in Marseille on Monday morning, as reported by the Russian Consul-General Stanislav Oranskiy. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has described the incident as resembling a terrorist attack, demanding France to take comprehensive measures to investigate the explosions. According to a police source speaking to BFMTV, two Molotov cocktails were thrown into the garden of the diplomatic building. Emergency services responded to the scene, with firefighters entering the building. Fortunately, no injuries or damages have been reported.
