World July 13, 2016 14:00

- Spanish police and military have been using four helicopters evacuated 174 people who were isolated hit in the far west of the island of Tenerife. The evacuees had to leave their cars, because the reason for their plight was the collapse of a portion of a mountain road, Spanish media reported Wednesday.

The almost 10 meter long stretch of road on the route from Buenavista del Norte to the western tip of the island collapsed Tuesday in depth. The cause is still unknown.
