European Union's Backing

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas declared, 'Ukraine is Europe. We stand with Ukraine. We will increase our support to help Ukraine continue the fight against aggression.'

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz reassured Ukraine of Germany and Europe's support for finding a path towards a lasting and fair peace.

The EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Council President Antonio Costa shared a joint message, expressing admiration for Zelensky's courage and pledging to work together for a fair and lasting peace.
