European inquiry stops required

brussels - There should be an inquiry, investigating the terrorist attacks in Paris, Brussels and Berlin. That argument holds leader Manfred Weber of the Christian Democrat EPP Group in the European Parliament, Monday in the French daily Le Soir.

According to Weber, such a commission should identify any deficiencies in the cooperation between national authorities and the European Police Office Europol. The attacks had indeed ' almost all transnational dimension, 'says Weber.

On the mandate of such an inquiry would have to be negotiated with the other groups in the European Parliament.
