EU seeks summit with Turkey on migration

valletta - The European Union wants summits with Turkey on its approach to migration issues. During an informal discussion in the Maltese capital Valletta spoke EU leaders and-staatshoofden off to invite Turkish President Tayip Erdogan for an EU-Turkey summit, sources said the ANP.

A date has not been established. On social media is the date of November 22 around.

The EU wants Turkey to agree on better care in Turkey for Syrian refugees, return of migrants who are not entitled to asylum and improved monitoring of the border with Greece. In return, Europe include Turkey prepared to make a substantial financial contribution.

In early October, Turkey and the EU has in principle a plan of action agreed. Now there are new elections in Turkey it is important to concretely define the agreements.
