brussels - The EU remains directly behind the nuclear agreement with Iran. This was confirmed by the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany and Great Britain and EU foreign chief Federica Mogherini after the crisis consultation with the Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Brussels.

According to Mogherini, the 2015 agreement is between Iran and six world powers, including the United States. 'It meets the most important goal, namely to limit the Iranian nuclear program and to keep it under strict supervision. '

President Donald Trump threatens to torpedo the deal on the core program. He is expected to decide on Friday whether the sanctions suspended on the Iranian oil exports under the agreement should be reactivated. According to Trump, the country has more so-called heavy water (dideuterium oxide) than has been agreed. This substance can be used in the production of plutonium.
