Esther Stoel, a 35-year-old woman living just outside Pedralba in Valencia region, was reunited with her son Max (4) today after being stranded for two days due to the severe Spanish weather. Stoel described her challenging situation, mentioning the destruction of access points to the village caused by the weather. Despite the challenges, Stoel managed to secure supplies by crossing the river on foot to get essential items.

She explained the difficulties she faced in trying to reach her son, who had to stay with a friend due to road closures and bridge damages. Stoel expressed her relief and happiness upon finally reuniting with Max after days of worry and communication difficulties without electricity or internet.

Reflecting on the impact of the weather, Stoel described the damage in the area, including landslides and flooded properties. However, she expressed gratitude for the support of her neighbors and the resilience of her own home despite the extreme conditions.
