istanbul - The Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan also wants to campaign abroad for himself and his party in the run-up to the early Turkish presidential and parliamentary elections this summer.

'If God wants it, I rent a large sports hall with more than ten thousand people. From there I can speak to the Turkish citizens ', the president told in an interview with the channel NTV. Erdogan did not want to say which country it is.

A German government spokesman said that no Erdogan visit to Germany had been notified prior to the election date of 24 June. In Germany it is forbidden for politicians from outside the European Union to campaign within three months prior to elections.

Dutch Prime Minister Rutte said this week 'undesirable' that Turkish politicians in the Netherlands campaign. Last year, the Netherlands faced Turkish ministers who were campaigning for a referendum, resulting in a major diplomatic riot.
