rome - A wish list for Christmas was flown to Austria from the Alps to Italy over a distance of about 400 kilometers. The epistle with the gift man of 2-year-old Emma- 'a sled'- landed in the grass between two basins of a water purification plant in Schio, near Vicenza.
One employee found the wish list of the girl from Niedernsill, a place south of Salzburg, and decided to fulfill her wish. He held a collection among his colleagues and the money for a sled was up and running together. 'We immediately tried to contact the family to say that the package is on its way', said Luciano Caleffi of the water company. The motto of the fundraising campaign was: 'Babbo Natale esiste' (Santa Claus exists).
