washington, usa - Elon Musk surprises audience with a golden chainsaw performance at CPAC 2025 congress near Washington.

Elon Musk's Chainsaw Show at CPAC 2025 Congress

Elon Musk, the world's richest person and close advisor to US President Donald Trump, stunned the audience at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) 2025 congress by performing with a golden electric chainsaw on stage. Musk, lifting the chainsaw gifted to him by Argentine President Milei, posed for photos, shouting 'This chainsaw is for bureaucracy'.

'Bite the Gold Ingot'

Musk, known for his efforts to cut government spending through initiatives like the Government Efficiency Department established by the Trump administration, stated that they could even supervise the Federal Reserve. Criticizing the 'waste everywhere', Musk mentioned their plan to also inspect the Fort Knox gold reserves in Kentucky to ensure the authenticity of the gold ingots. Musk humorously added, 'We just want to make sure it's real gold. Bite the ingot'.

Prior to Musk's remarks, US President Donald Trump had mentioned in an interview on Air Force One that Musk would check whether the gold at Fort Knox is present or not. Meanwhile, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed that annual audits are conducted and the gold is indeed in the facility.
