Elephant kills girl (7) with stones

rabat - A girl of seven years old died at the zoo in the Moroccan city Rabat by a stone hurled by an elephant at her side. The animal had the stone taken up with his trunk and hurled the boulder then to the public.

The girl posed with her father for a picture at the moment when the stone hit her head. The child was seriously injured and died later in hospital from her injuries.

The zoo management has given to the families in a press statement compassion. There is an investigation into the accident.
