Eight dead from gas leak in factory China

beijing - Due to a gas leak, eight employees of a steel plant in China were killed. Ten other people were injured and hospitalized, reported Xinhua state news agency Monday.

The accident happened at the Songshan factory in the city of Shaoguan (Guangdong province). The authorities are investigating the cause of the gas leak.

In China, accidents at work are more likely to occur with deaths and injuries because safety regulations are not complied with.
