'Dutch' start-up wins in Vegas

las vegas - The start-up Siren Care has to develop its high-tech socks won the TechCrunch Hardware Battlefield. The company, with a Dutchman as co-founder and one of the directors, thus won a sum of 50,000 dollars (about 47,500 euros) on hold.
The socks are a godsend for diabetics. Thanks to small electronic sensors, the temperature is measured at different points of the foot. This can ulcers be predicted before they emerge.
Competitors in the contest website TechCrunch were a wearable which monitors labor in pregnant women, sensors on construction sites to monitor the risk of fire, water and mold damage, and a device that can identify different pills.
