Dutch e-book market stagnates

culemborg - Sales in the e-books market have stagnated over the past year. Thus, the breakthrough of the electronic book as a major threat to physical books does not seem to really continue, according to the Central Book House (CB) annual report. Compared with the US market, the development of e-books remains in the Netherlands, the organization is setting.

The total Dutch book market showed its first growth in 2016 for the first time. Both sales and sales from book sales were in the elevator. The CB also noted that consumers are increasingly ordering online books. Last year it was about a quarter of all books distributed by the CB.
