Dozens killed by bus accident Peru

lima - More than forty people were killed by a road accident in Peru. A bus with about fifty passengers hit a road along a rock and landed one hundred meters lower upside down on a beach near the town of Pasamayo, north of the capital Lima.

According to aid workers, five people survived the accident, reported the BBC. The road along the rock is popularly called 'devil's bend. 'The coastal road is known as very dangerous.

No cause had yet been established, but witnesses stated that the bus was hit from behind, causing the driver to lose control of the steering wheel.
