new york - Time Magazine has named Donald Trump as the Person of the Year for the second time, emphasizing his significant influence on the world.

Time Magazine has selected Donald Trump as the Person of the Year for the second time, highlighting his substantial impact on global affairs. The magazine, known for choosing individuals, groups, or movements that have had a profound influence on the world, stated that if Trump follows through on his promises, he will bring about significant changes to the country and the world.

Trump previously received the title in 2016 after winning the presidential election. It is worth noting that almost all American presidents who won the presidential elections have been named Person of the Year by Time Magazine since the tradition began in 1927.

Among the contenders for this year's title were American Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris, British Duchess Kate Middleton, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Last year, American singer Taylor Swift was honored as the Time Magazine Person of the Year.
