united states - A neck-and-neck race is underway for the White House, with Donald Trump leading with 230 electoral votes against Kamala Harris' 205.

As the winner seems predetermined, focus is on seven states where close races were expected: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The last swing state to close polls was Nevada, home to Las Vegas.

In Arizona, Trump leads with 49.7% against Harris' 49.5%. New York Times reports Trump leading in North Carolina. Predictably, Trump won Texas and Florida.

So far, no surprises have occurred. States where both candidates were expected to win have been confirmed.

California awarded to Kamala Harris by Fox News. Her home state, a Democratic stronghold, with 54 electoral votes. Oregon (8) and Washington (12) also predicted for Harris.

Interestingly, Trump's leads in won states exceed poll expectations. If this trend continues, a Trump victory seems likely. The New York Times predicts an 88% chance of a Trump win.

The Harris campaign appears cautious. Washington Post reports sources within the campaign staying quiet, hinting at uncertainty. A memo admits the path to White House may narrow through the Blue Wall (Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin).
