america - US President Donald Trump offers conflicting sentiments towards Prince Harry's residency in America amidst tensions with Meghan Markle.

Donald Trump's Decision on Prince Harry

US President Donald Trump has expressed both good and bad news for British Prince Harry. Trump suggests that the prince may remain in America, citing compassion due to his wife Meghan Markle being 'terrible'.

Trump was questioned by The New York Post regarding the ongoing issue surrounding Prince Harry, who has distanced himself from the royal family and moved to America. The debate over his residency in the US has been ongoing for years, with allegations of preferential treatment and dishonesty in his visa application, particularly regarding drug use.

Although Trump previously hinted at not offering protection to the prince if he returned to the White House, he now clarifies that he has no intention of deporting King Charles III's youngest son, emphasizing that he will 'leave him alone' given his existing troubles with Meghan. The strained relationship between the royal couple and the Republican president is evident, with Harry and Meghan publicly criticizing Trump in the past.

Trump maintains a positive relationship with the British royal family, having recently met with Prince William in Paris and commended him. The rift between the brothers, William and Harry, escalated after Meghan's arrival at the British court and an interview in which racism allegations were made. The Sussexes relocated to the US in 2020, where tensions further escalated following a Netflix documentary and financial disputes with the British monarchy.

Harry's residency status in the US has sparked controversy, with critics questioning special treatment and alleged dishonesty in his visa application. The Heritage Foundation initiated legal action to reveal details of the prince's visa application, suspecting favorable treatment under President Joe Biden's administration and false declarations regarding drug use. Harry's admission of drug use in his autobiography raises concerns of deportation for inaccuracies in visa applications.

Trump's strict immigration policies contrast with the scrutiny faced by Prince Harry, as the US administration intensifies efforts to deport illegal immigrants. Recent complaints by Trump regarding the pace of operations to detain undocumented individuals highlight his commitment to stringent immigration enforcement.
