The owner of Rasko, H. P., went in January 2016 for a week with his family on vacation. Via the site petsitter. he came to dogsitter D. D. M., a keeper he had used more often.

P. decided to cancel his holiday and go home early. He filed a complaint against the dogsitter who also admitted that he had twice committed sexual acts with Rasko.

The judge did not think it possible that D. D. M. trivialized the facts. Furthermore, the dogsitter claimed that it was the dog who asked to be sexually satisfied and he suffered from his medication. That would have led to 'sexual urge'. The judge could not agree with that.

Tuesday, D. D. M. was convicted. Animal organization GAIA, which also filed the lawsuit, received 1 euro for moral damage and compensation for legal costs.
