Dogfight to 'brexit'

Dogfight to 'brexit'

World June 20, 2016 17:39

london - British police have arrested a man Sunday morning would have beaten an elderly because they had a different opinion about British membership of the European Union. The 78-year-old victim suffered minor injuries.

The 52-year-old suspect hit the elderly man in the face after a runaway dispute over the EU referendum, the police said. The pair had been at loggerheads for a store in the northern English Carlisle.

Tempers in Britain run on the approaching plebiscite on departure from the EU. Last week killed an extreme right-wing maverick social democratic Lagerhuislid Jo Cox, which ardently campaigned with the message that the British are better off as an EU member. Everything indicates that the offender acted out of political motives.
