washington - 21 members of DOGE, Elon Musk's financial advisory body for the US government, resign and express concerns over keeping promises.

DOGE Staff Resignation and Concerns

21 employees of DOGE, a financial advisory body founded by Elon Musk, have resigned, stating their inability to uphold their promises to the American people and the constitution. They mentioned a visit from White House officials raising concerns about their political loyalty and technical skills.

Responding to the resignations, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt mentioned that President Trump and Musk remain undeterred by the staff departures, emphasizing their commitment to their goals.

DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency, was established by President Trump to reduce government spending. Musk, along with a team, aims to streamline government operations, resulting in layoffs and legal challenges.

Concerns have been raised regarding Musk's handling of the layoffs, with legal actions initiated against him for alleged violations of employment laws.
