Doctors take away 23 kilograms of tumor

hanoi - Doctors have taken a 23 kg tumor from a man in Vietnam. That was only half of the whole tumor in his back and lower body. The rest will be removed later, according to local media.

The 34-year-old male suffers from the hereditary disorder neurofibromatosis which can lead to unrestrained cell growth. Usually these are benign tumors. The man could no longer walk because of the enormous swelling. After his recovery, the other half of the tumor will be removed.
