baghdad - Definitely eighty people have been slain Thursday when a suicide bomber detonated his truck at a gas station in the Iraqi city of Hilla, about one hundred kilometers south of Baghdad. Ten people were injured. Islamic State has claimed responsibility.
The attack took place when Iranian Shiite pilgrims visited a restaurant next to the pumping station. They came back from a pilgrimage to the holy city of Kerbala.
IS has previously committed similar attacks in areas outside the areas controlled by them.
