Dead and wounded by collision planes

erkelenz - At Erkelenz, not far from the German border near Roermond, two ultralight aircraft collided Saturday afternoon. As a result, one of the pilots, a 70-year-old man, was killed. The other pilot, a 60-year-old man, was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital.

According to the German police, the accident happened at 3.30 pm near an airport for ultra light aircraft at Kückhoven, Erkelenz. The police dropped off the environment where the accident happened.

The accident occurred when the 70-year-old from the airport took off, while the 60-year-old pilot was landing at that moment. In the air, both aircraft collided and then landed near the airport. The 70-year-old man died on the spot.
