copenhagen - Danish security service warns of Russia's military buildup and potential attack on a European NATO country within six months.

Danish Security Service Report

The Danish security service warns that Russia is preparing for a larger war, with a significant military buildup in the background. The report suggests that Putin is getting ready for a major conflict.

If a ceasefire is declared, Russia could massively increase its production of tanks, aircraft, drones, and other weaponry. The report speculates that the first target of attack after six months could be the Baltic countries.

Russia's readiness for escalation is projected two years after the initial buildup, with a potential world war breaking out on the continent five years from now. The security service suggests that Trump's statements have weakened NATO, leaving Europe to fend for itself.

A scenario is outlined where Russia invades Estonia under the pretext of protecting the Russian minority, raising concerns about potential nuclear threats. The report indicates that NATO may not be able to rearm as quickly as Russia, especially with support from North Korea and China.

Russia is projected to spend 442 billion euros on weapons by 2024, while NATO's spending is nearly three times higher, largely due to the United States. The European Union is estimated to spend 326 billion euros, with European countries increasing their defense budgets significantly. The security service suggests that a prolonged conflict would give Europe more time to strengthen its defense capabilities.
