little rock - A controversial plan by the authorities in the US state of Arkansas, has met with fierce resistance. Eight death row inmates are executed before the end of April because the shelf life of an anesthetic used in injections or expires.

The plan is to implement the eight procedures between 17th and April 27th. Something that since the reintroduction of the death penalty in the US has not occurred in 1976. Former prison guards in the US call the governor in a letter to abandon the series scheduled executions will suffer because the performers with severe emotional stress.

The governor wants to continue the series as a new supply of the anesthetic is difficult to obtain. Pharmaceutical companies do not want to make it to US prisons in protest against the death penalty.
