voehledar, ukraine - The strategically important city of Voehledar in eastern Ukraine is at risk of falling into Russian hands, posing potential drastic consequences for President Volodimir Zelenski.

For almost three years, the Russian army has tried to take over Voehledar with little success. Now, President Vladimir Putin plans to use a different approach, aiming to bypass and cut off Ukrainian soldiers instead of driving them out of the city. This new strategy could make the route to Koersk more challenging for Ukraine.

Despite pro-Russian bloggers claiming a direct confrontation, unverified images show Voehledar under attack. The situation around Voehledar is expected to undergo significant changes in the near future, according to Frontelligence Insight.

Voehledar, once deemed impregnable, now faces a precarious situation. Russian soldiers have faced heavy losses in previous attempts to penetrate the city. As the pressure on Voehledar intensifies, President Putin shifts focus to Vodiane, a village north of Voehledar, where the roads are reportedly less treacherous. This new target area has already faced multiple attacks by Russian forces.

The fate of Voehledar remains uncertain, with former Ukrainian Colonel Vladislav Seleznyov expressing pessimism about the city's chances of holding out. Zelenski faces a critical decision regarding whether to defend Voehledar at all costs or withdraw troops to prioritize human lives over territorial control.
