bunsbeek - When digging in Belgium of a crashed British bomber from the Second World War this weekend salvaged remains of three crew members. The unit had deeply sunk in a marshy meadow at the site Bunsbeek.

The device, a Lancaster NN775, collapsed in March 1945 down on the way back from a bombing at an oil refinery in Gelsenkirchen. The seven crew members were killed. After the crash were recovered at the time, four bodies. This weekend followed the rest of the crew.

Saturday, the first body was recovered Sunday followed the other two. Whenever a brief military ceremony was held by the Honor Guard of the British Commonwealth who kept guard during the excavations.
