singapore - A man in Singapore took his sister to court over constant intrusion into his private space.

A man in Singapore was fed up with his sister repeatedly entering his bedroom to clean it. For over eight years, she made unauthorized visits, even when he was asleep. This dispute escalated and eventually ended up in court. The judge ruled that the woman is no longer allowed to enter her brother's room.

According to the man, his adult sister would often enter his bedroom without permission, sometimes while he was present. He felt that his privacy had been violated and told the court that this had caused him mental distress, as reported by Singaporean news channel CNA. The sister claimed she only did this to clean his room, as apparently he never did it himself.

In turn, the sister requested a no-contact order against her brother, citing an alleged attack during one of her cleaning sessions. The man stated that she would sometimes come in between 11 pm and 4 am, even when he was trying to sleep. 'It's not difficult to imagine how disturbing it would be to have someone walk into your bedroom deep in the night,' the judge remarked. 'But the brother's alleged attack is also unacceptable.'

The court approved the sister's request for a no-contact order, but also mandated that she refrain from entering her brother's room without permission.
