baikonoer - Two Russian cosmonauts have installed an antenna at the ISS space station. After a seven-hour spacewalk, they managed to attach the antenna required for the Icarus project to the space station.
The scientific project aims to monitor the movements of animals on earth even better. For example, in the future, Icarus may be able to help as a warning system for natural disasters such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
In addition, the researchers hope that the project will be able to study the effects of climate change on draft animals with the antenna. With this they hope to learn more about communicable diseases. The project must start in 2019.
