Consultant Trump 'invents' massacre

washington - Kelly Anne Conway, adviser to President Donald Trump, in an interview with MSNBC tried to defend the entry ban for people from seven Muslim countries. They did so by referring to a terrorist attack in Bowling Green, Kentucky, allegedly committed by two Iraqi refugees. Interesting detail: there has never been an attack in Bowling Green.

Conway refers, according to the Washington Post probably the arrest of two Iraqis in Bowling Green. The duo was arrested in 2011 and sentenced for trying to send weapons and money to al Qaeda. In addition, they have announced that they have committed in Iraq attacks on US troops. With a stop in Bowling Green, however, no question.

It is not the first time that the arrest of the two Iraqis in Bowling Green is used to gain political support for stopping refugees. In December 2015 Senator Rand Paul did that once.
