Complete mountain is artwork

- Mount Tindaya on the Canary island of Fuerteventura is probably entirely a work of art. If the City Council of Fuerteventura and the board of the Canaries agree, then the dream life of the Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida fulfilled. He pleaded sixteen years for the realization of the artwork.

Chillida will not live to see, he died in 2002. He wanted to erode the mountain and,, monument to tolerance make. The authorities in the Canary Islands have since established a foundation in life that will prepare the realization of the project.

In the hollowed portion of the Tindaya should be two shafts according to Chillida which sunlight can penetrate the mountain. It should show the visitor,, how insignificant man is and penetrate him of the fact that we are all brothers .
