Eleven Injured in Hamburg Harbor Collision

A cargo ship collided with a ferry in the port of Hamburg, resulting in at least eleven injuries, according to German media sources. The ferry, carrying approximately 25 people between the harbor and the center of Hamburg, was heavily damaged in the early morning incident. Emergency services, including the fire department, responded to the scene. One individual sustained a critical head injury and was transported to the hospital.

The cause of the accident is currently unknown, and authorities are investigating. Despite the significant damage to the ferry, there is no immediate risk of sinking. Images depict windows on the side of the vessel completely shattered as a result of the collision.
