China presents home-made aircraft carrier

peking - China presented Wednesday the first aircraft carrier that it built itself. The vessel is expected to be taken into use by 2020.

The ship will operate next to the only other aircraft carrier it has, a second-hand vessel from Ukraine. State media reported that the aircraft was abandoned from the dock. On pictures the vessel was visible with festive red flags on the edge of the deck. The ship has no name yet.

The warfare will be equipped with Shenyang J-15 fighter jets. According to military observers, the ship is of lesser quality than the ten aircraft ships that have the United States navy.
