peking - Chinese people should no longer respond anonymously to Internet forums and other platforms. They must pass their real name before they can post comments. The new rules are according to TechCrunch on October 1.
Internet companies and providers must retrieve and check the real names of users. China had previously determined that data should be stored on servers within China and that VPNs are prohibited. These virtual private networks allow people to bypass government censorship.
