Chelsea's Carney Chukwuemeka Joins Borussia Dortmund on Permanent Deal

- Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka completes a permanent move to Borussia Dortmund until June 2030 after a successful loan spell, while Dortmund extends coach Niko Kovac's contract.

Chelsea's Carney Chukwuemeka Signs Permanent Deal with Borussia Dortmund

21-year-old midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has officially joined Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal until June 2030. After impressing during a loan spell, Chukwuemeka expressed his excitement to become an integral part of the team.

Chukwuemeka's Journey

Having represented England at various youth levels, Chukwuemeka played 17 games for Dortmund last season, scoring once. He looks forward to contributing to the team's success and achieving their goals together.

Coach Kovac's Contract Extension

Borussia Dortmund also announced the extension of head coach Niko Kovac's contract until June 2027. Kovac, who joined in January, led the team to the Champions League quarterfinals and a fourth-place finish in the Bundesliga.

Kovac expressed his confidence in the team's progress and trust from the club and fans, aiming for long-term success with Dortmund.
