Chelsea Forward Armando Broja Joins Burnley in £20m Deal

Burnley, the Premier League newcomers, have successfully secured the signing of Chelsea forward Armando Broja for a reported £20m fee. The Albanian international has made a significant move to Turf Moor after spending 16 years at Chelsea.

Broja's Career Path

Graduating from Chelsea's academy in 2020, the 23-year-old striker has had loan spells at Vitesse, Southampton, Fulham, and Everton. Notably, during his time at Southampton, Broja made history by becoming the first Albanian to score in the Premier League.

Excitement at Burnley

Expressing his enthusiasm about the transfer, Broja stated, 'I am really excited to be here as a Burnley player. It's a positive time to join the club ahead of the new Premier League season. I can't wait to get started and give my all for the team.'

Broja, who has 27 international appearances with five goals, joins Burnley as their 13th summer signing. He follows former Chelsea teammates to Turf Moor as Burnley gears up for their return to the top flight under manager Scott Parker.
