The 2024-25 Women's Super League (WSL) concluded with Chelsea securing their sixth consecutive title after an unbeaten season. Despite losing Emma Hayes, Sonia Bompastor led the team to remarkable success, setting a record points total of 60. Meanwhile, Tottenham had a disappointing season finishing 11th under Robert Vilaham.

Team Grades

Chelsea received an A+ for their stellar performance, finishing with 19 wins and 3 draws in 22 games. Arsenal earned a B- after a slow start and finishing 12 points behind Chelsea. Manchester United got a B despite defensive strength but struggled with finishing. Manchester City ended with a C- due to a series of defeats and injuries, missing out on Europe.

Standout Players

Mariona Caldentey from Arsenal emerged as the best creator with 9 goals and 5 assists, leading in expected assists. Shekiera Martinez of West Ham overperformed her expected goals, scoring 10 goals from an xG of 5.5. Alessia Russo from Arsenal excelled in the box with 149 touches in the opposition area, while Sophie Román Haug of Liverpool dominated in the air. Ashleigh Neville from Tottenham stood out as an all-action defender with impressive defensive stats.

Yui Hasegawa of Manchester City was recognized for her exceptional ball recoveries, while Phallon Tullis-Joyce from Manchester United shone as the best goalkeeper with 13 clean sheets. Olivia Smith from Liverpool drew fouls effectively, and Grace Clinton from Manchester United excelled at threading the needle. Millie Bright from Chelsea was best at switching play, and Maya Le Tissier from Manchester United proved to be the most reliable outfielder.
