- Real Madrid set for a rematch with Jose Mourinho's Benfica in Champions League playoffs, while PSG meets Monaco. Benfica secured their spot with a last-minute goal.

Real Madrid to Face Benfica in Champions League Playoffs

Real Madrid will take on Jose Mourinho's Benfica in the knockout playoff round of the Champions League. Benfica secured their place with a dramatic last-minute goal from goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin.

Rematch of Former Rivals

Benfica has won three out of the four previous European meetings against Real Madrid, including the 1962 European Cup final. The upcoming two-legged tie in February will provide Mourinho with another opportunity to face his former club.

Other Key Matchups

Paris Saint-Germain will clash with AS Monaco in an all-French showdown, while Bodo/Glimt of Norway, who defeated Manchester City, will play against Inter Milan. Juventus is set to face Galatasaray, and Atlético Madrid will meet Club Brugge in another exciting fixture.

The playoff matches are scheduled for Feb. 17-18 and Feb. 24-25. The full draw includes Borussia Dortmund vs. Atalanta, Olympiacos vs. Bayer Leverkusen, and Qarabag vs. Newcastle United.
