Car driving on pedestrian: 3 dead

melbourne - In the Australian city of Melbourne at least three people died after a car deliberately crashed into pedestrians. Least twenty people were injured, police reports, which excludes a terrorist attack.

According to witnesses, drove around 13. 30 am (Australian time) a car on the footpath in the center of the city, hitting several bystanders. Also, some have heard shots during the incident, although the authorities can not confirm whether there are indeed shots were fired.

Police have arrested the culprit and investigate what exactly happened. Parts of the city, where currently the Australian Open is held, are deposited.
